P.S. I love this...Shoes!

I know a lot of my friends and family love to do arts and crafts. I find it relaxing to create new things and hang them up with pride. We'll I came upon this really cute craft website called P.S. i made this... (http://psimadethis.com/). The creator is Erica and she goes from crafts around the house to fashionable crafts you can wear. They are all super easy and adorable.
Which reminds me that I will post up some of the stuff I made, later this month or next.

Another great site I found has to do with SHOES! What girl doesnt love shoes? The site was created by Kim Kardashian and is called ShoeDazzle (http://www.shoedazzle.com/). Its a wonderful program where you become a member for $39.95 a month and you take a short survey. Within a couple of days they will send you an email with 5 pairs of shoes they think you would love. If you like one of the selections they choose for you, simply click on it and they will deduct the $39.95 from you that month. If you do not like any of the shoes they will send you another 5 choices. If you still dont like the shoes they wont charge you for the month. So you only get charged when you select a pair of shoes. Where can you go wrong, great shoes, nice price and free shipping. I'm going to become a member next month when I settle down in my new home and I will blog about the shoes I got and their quality.

So those are my December favorites, I love these two websites and I am happy to share them with you all. I will end this by saying I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season If I do not post a blog soon.

Love, Solene

Native American Obsession!

I have been noticing a ot of fashion is getting inspiration from the Indians. I myself have become obsessed with this trend. The stores I go into I see clothes, shoes and accessories that remind me of Pocahontes. Here are a couple of items that follow this trend.

Walmart part of Miley Cyrus and Max Azria line.

I picked up this shirt today! It was 7 bucks at Walmart.

This shirt I found at Forever 21 and all the feathers are done with beads. I would have never known that from this picture.

Another shirt from Forever 21. Im loving the purple rose in the middle, waiting for this to go on sale.

These moccasins are at Payless. I added them to my wish list.

I have a turqoise necklace just like this at a street fair in Oceanside.

This ring I bought in L.A. Fashion District for 99 cents.

I'm telling you I'm loving this trend so much I was shopping at Dollar Tree and found this and had to have it.

It reminds me of this HOT Native American Warewolf, named Jacob Black!

How could I not talk about this trend without mentioning this hottie. FYI I love him with the long hair, true Indian. Team Jacob!

Wishlist!

With Christmas around the corner, I made a wish list of things I want. I know I'm not going to get this all for Christmas, but It's a list of things im going to save up for to buy.

These eternity scarfs are so cool. Even though I know I can make this, I still want a really soft, warm one. This purple one is from American Eagle.

This grey bag is from Kathy Van Zeeland.

These purple flats are really cute and the color is perfect for the winter season. I believe these are from Forever 21.

I found this from an online review. Right now they are out of stock but I have heard nothing but good news about this product. I'm starting to get some dark circles from lack of sleep and from my momma (hereditary).

This perfume smells so good, its a great floral scent.

This jumpsuit is very dressy, but yet can be dressed casual. This is from Charolette Russe.

I found this vest from H&M, but im going to try and make it too.

This 6 piece spa set is from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
I need a new robe and for $35.99 its not a bad price for this set.

This sewing machine offers it all, it's computerized to enter the stitch you desire. It's from Walmart.

Thanksgiving

This year I spent the holiday with family in Oceanside. We didnt plan on going any where because we usually make it up in Christmas and New Years Eve. Let me tell you, I had so much fun with my family. We started the afternoon chowing down and ended the day playing Charades and Blurt. Here are some pics of the festive day.

Here is the yummy feast we were blessed to eat!

My beautiful cousins and I looking good on Thanksgiving.

These cracker treats have faces, thanks to my uncle Bob lol.

I'm excited that the next holiday to come is the best one CHRISTMAS! I'm starting to make my wish list. I hope you all get into the Christmas spirit, cause I've seen so many houses put up there Christmas lights.

I Love Coats!

Ever since the summer ended I have been searching for coats at great prices. I finally accumulated enough to make me happy and warm for years to come. Below I will show you the great coats I found at unbelievable prices.

This jacket I made, it took me about 2 hours to sew. I got the fabric for $5.99 a yard (only needed 1 1/2 yards) at Yardagetown. It has a blue lining on the inside, from fabric that I had left over. I love the rounded bottom it adds edge to the look.

This coat I bought today from Factory Outlet for $25. I love the houdstooth design and the purple adds a splash of color to a classic design. This is my favorite coat right now.

This coat was an excellent find that I stumbled upon while shopping with my friend. I got it at a store downtown called Fashion Identity for $20 bucks. Its a thick wool peacoat, but its super soft and simple.

This jacket I got at Forever 21 for $15, I love the belt at the waist it is very sophisticated. The color is navy blue and it is a soft knit fabric.

Lastly, this long black knit coat was $25 at Macy's. It also has a belt at the waist, it doesnt have a hood but the collar makes it look more classic and simple.

As you can tell most of them are peacoats, I just love the elegance of peacoats. The scarfs are my favorite, the new trend is bow scarfs so thats what I did with most of them. So that is 5 coats/jackets for around $100 bucks. Which is not bad at all, I just suggest you look around different stores first before buying one coat at $100 bucks. With the weather getting chilly alot of junior stores are putting out coats for a good price.
